Cardinals Win Home Opener Behind Tucker's Impressive Game

Tucker continued his dominant game by opening the second half with a 66 yard TD run to extend the lead to 17 and followed it up on his next touch with a 24 yard TD run allowing him to finish the game with 147 rushing yards. Chidi Ejoh added a forced fumble that was returned for a TD by Keith Powers. Cobie Floyd finish off the Cardinals scoring with a 1 yard TD run. Seniors Anthony Anderson and Billy Wooden each had a sack with Anthony adding a fumble recovery. Sophomore Tre Jordan added 2 interceptions late in the game to help cement the lead.
The Cardinals next home game will be Friday 9/7 against Wise High School (Prince George's County) who last week extended their winning streak to 43 games with a 20-6 win over Camden High School. (NJ)
