“Office of Advancement” …has a mysterious ring like a secret organization from a James Bond movie. In fact, the Office of Advancement is not a mysterious organization but does have a critical assignment in the Calvert Hall community – Securing the Future. Since 1845, young men have benefited from the many opportunities provided by a Hall education. Our graduates take great pride in being Men of Faith, Men of Intellect, and Men of Integrity. The Office of Advancement works to ensure a Hall education for generations of future Hall men.
To achieve this goal Advancement’s efforts are focused in three areas…the three E’s. Building the school’s Endowment, supporting Excellence in programs and instruction, and promoting the Enrollment of outstanding young men. The Office of Advancement also promotes what we refer to as the silent E - Extending the Brotherhood. Our initiatives focus on philanthropy and community. In addition to fund raising activities, our office supports the work of the Alumni Association, organizes alumni events, and develops student and alumni networking opportunities.
Thank you in advance for your interest in supporting the students, faculty and staff of the Hall.
Sincerely,
Joseph A. Baker ‘76
CAO/Director of Advancement
