A number of years ago, the
1845 Society was created to recognize and honor our alumni and friends who have, or who might consider, including Calvert Hall College High School in their estate and long-term financial planning. These commitments take many forms – and every one of them represents a special way to remember The Hall. The easiest way to leave a legacy is by a simple bequest in one’s Will or Trust. Some donors name Calvert Hall as beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or retirement account. Charitable gift annuities and charitable trusts provide immediate sources of income for the donor and deferred gifts for The Hall.
Some of Calvert Hall’s most meaningful gifts have been these legacy gifts. Regardless of the gift amount (
there is no minimum), they represent the special relationship Calvert Hall has played in the
1845 Society member’s life or in the lives of their loved ones. It is a privilege for The Hall to be forever linked to our alumnus, his widow, a parent or friend. As a member of the
1845 Society, Calvert Hall is able to thank you today and work with you to ensure your wishes with your legacy gift are met.
