Theatre Camp

Calvert Hall is offering three weeks of high-energy Creative Theatre/Musical Theatre camps. There will be two camps for different age groups.

Sessions 1 & 2 –BOYS and GIRLS Ages 5 – 12

Theatre Director Bio
Ms. Jillian Bauersfeld

is in her sixth year as the director of the Theatre Department at CHC.  Jillian received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from The University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  Before coming to "The Hall" Jillian worked in DC, MD and VA, both as a director and performer.  Her credits include Godspell, Nunsense, The Shape of Things, My Way Little Girl- DC Fringe Festival, Hansel and Grethel eats Crabs!, and Crazy for You andCaberet.  Since coming to The Hall she has directed such performances as Grease, Stalag 17, Footloose, It's a Wonderful Life, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Songs for A New World, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Few Good Men, and Godspell.  She currently choreographs and directs at Spotlighters Theatre in Baltimore City.

Choral Music Director Bio
Mr. George Wilkerson

holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where as an undergraduate he directed the vocal jazz ensemble, was the vocal soloist for the jazz band, was the section leader for the premier choral ensemble of the university and the music director for his fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.  He has conducted numerous church, middle school, high school, and college choral ensembles as well as performed various opera, operetta and musical theatre roles.  Mr. Wilkerson is an active member of the Music Educators' National Conference, the American Choral Directors' Association, and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.  He is also an adjunct faculty member at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD where he teaches applied voice lessons and conducts the chamber choir.  He is the Director of the Contemporary Music Ensemble at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and currently pursuing his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Towson University.

Ms. Lynn Tallman

Lynn Tallman is a classically trained singer, actor, and instructor.  She has a graduate degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelors degree in Music from West Virginia University.  After spending some time in the Midwest, Lynn returned to Charm City and has been working in the Baltimore area in the music, theatre and fitness industries as a performer and instructor of  voice and dance and Zumba.
