Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The DEI Steering committee serves as the primary catalyst for Calvert Hall’s efforts for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive community.

  • Academic Subcommittee

    Tasked with exploring how our academic programs can promote DEI through content, pedagogy, tracking, hiring and co-curricular initiatives.
  • Professional Development Subcommittee

    Focuses strengthening the DEI development and education of the school’s leadership, faculty, staff and professional members of the Calvert Hall.  
  • School Community Subcommittee

    Strengthening the DEI development and education of all Calvert Hall stakeholders to create a more inclusive environment centered on open discussion and the exchange of ideas and experiences to ensure that Calvert Hall remains committed to DEI development and understanding the experiences of all stakeholders.  
  • Service & Social Justice Subcommittee

    Focuses on strengthening service opportunities and school-wide initiatives to increase awareness and advocacy surrounding social justice and racial justice at CHC. Rooted within our Lasallian tradition and Catholic faith, our subcommittee seeks to put our faith into action and cultivate a culture of service that is seen as part of the fabric of our Christian community and a responsibility for all of us at CHC.  
  • Student Life & Programming Subcommittee

    The primary intention is to foster a more inclusive environment centered on opportunities for open discussion among students to share their lived experiences and exchange of ideas and perspective.  Thus ensuring that Calvert Hall remains committed to DEI development and understanding the experiences of all stakeholders and thus adding to the rich diversity of the school community.
